She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward Fryer, Sr. and Dorothy Fryer (Blake); her husband Ralph S. Hoyt Sr.; her brother Robert B. Fryer (late Ann); and her sister-in-law Helen Fryer.

She is survived by: her children, Ralph "Dan" Hoyt, Jr. (Teresa) of Ocala, Cheryl Hoyt-Smith of Derby and David G. Hoyt, Sr. (Sue) of Indialantic, Florida.; her grandchildren, Kate Yates (Joshua), Adam Hoyt, Jennifer Hoyt, Myra Smith-Harris (Arthur), Lindsay Hoyt-Stratton (Michael), Cpt. David Hoyt, Jr. (Ansley) and Tyler Hoyt (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Adeline Yates, Sophie Yates, Ivy Harris, Emmie Stratton, Kanik Stratton, Savannah Hoyt and Sydney Hoyt; and her siblings, George E. Fryer, Jr. of Concord, NH and Ruth Foster (Cliff) of Gray, ME. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
