We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2021, at the age of 97, Charles W. Merriam Jr. (Burnt Hills, New York), born in Schenectady, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Merriam and Jessie Merriam (MacGlashen); his wife Patricia Merriam; and his grandson Jenson Merriam. He is survived by: his children, Brian Merriam (Judi), Peter Merriam (Cynthia), Sondra Russ, Anne Hogue (Bill LaPietra) and Sarah Dauenhauer (Tom); his grandchildren, Kelsey Cherney (Adam), Kimberly Merriam, David Merriam, Tyler Merriam, Kalina Merriam, Jennifer Richardson (Chase), Jordan Russ, Christopher Russ (Clementine), Lauren Kritz (Jason), Alex Hogue and Hannah Dauenhauer; his great grandchildren, Henry Russ, Oliver Russ, Beckett Russ, Hudson Kritz, Levi Richardson and Jude Richardson; and his former wife Elsbeth VanTongeren. He is also survived by his family and friends.
