He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Mangan and Jenny Mangan (Gallagher); and his siblings, Bernard Mangan, Francis Mangan, Tommy Mangan, Paul Mangan, Patricia Manlevy, Joan Miles and Mary Gennette.

He is survived by : his spouse Joyce May; his children, Donald Mangan (Ruth) of East Fairfield, VT, David Mangan (Debbie) of Alburg, VT and Brenda Carpenter of Champlain, NY; and his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Morgan, Riley Mangan, Stephanie, Matthew, Ellen, Sara, Danny Mangan, Kathleen, Taylor and Kristin Carpenter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
