He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Coughlin and Valda Coughlin (Brockway); his brother Michael Coughlin; his niece Heather Deuyour; and his parents-in-law, Mary and Walter Brockway.
He is survived by : his wife Peggy; his sister Karen Coughlin Leroux (Gerard) of Burke; his nephew Derrick Degon of Malone; and his niece Sherry Deuyour of Raleigh.
