He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin and Nettie Franklin (Glover); his son-in-law Arthur Spinner; and his siblings, Marshall, Parnell, Rollie, Stanley, Robert, Gerald and Evelyn Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Spinner of Mechanicville and Marty; his daughter-in-law Sue Franklin of Remsen; his grandchildren, Scott, Todd Spinner, Melissa, Jolene Franklin, Chris and Bethany Petteys; his partner's child Courtney Parmeter; and also, Kyra and Chase Parmeter. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Chateaugay Funeral Home (36 Church St, Chateaugay, NY 12920). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Church (132 W Main St, Chateaugay, NY 12920).
