He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bump and Helen Bump (Young); and his wife Cathy Bump. He is survived by: his sons, Robert E. Bump, Jr. (Michael Barsavage) of Burdett, David M. Bump (Rebecca) of Spencer and Steven J. Bump (Michelle) of Ithaca; and his siblings, Betty Clark (Ted), William Bump (Glory) of Homer and Richard Bump (Joan) of Elmira. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
