He is survived by: his parents, Graciano Zavala and Ramonita Zavala Ramos; his wife Marion Zavala; his children, Monique Frankovic (Shane) of Miami, FL, Jose A. Zavala (Amie) of Little Rock, Jacqueline Zavala of Ithaca and Chantalle Zavala of Syracuse; his siblings, George Zavala of Manhattan, Ana Zavala of Hector and Edda Agosto (William) of Florida; his grandchildren, Jayleen Zavala, Jason Rogers-Zavala, Asher Joe Zavala, Luka Frankovic and Chloe Frankovic; and also Addelis.
