He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ball and Lois Ball. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughters, Brenda Alteri (Stephen) of Big Flats and Susan Ball of Burdett; his stepchildren, Colleen Coro of Corning, Carla Fayerweather of Horseheads and Christopher Cordaro of Massachusetts; his siblings, James Ball (Marcia) of Texas and Janice Allison of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Ashley Cowen (Matthew) and Nicholas Alteri; his stepgrandchildren, Sophia, Trevor Henneman, Nolan, Nathan, Helen Fayerweather and Nicholas Cordaro; and his great grandchildren, Declan and Harrison Cowen.

Memorial donations in Jack's memory may be made to the Burdett Volunteer Fire Department.
