He was predeceased by: his father John L. May Sr.; and his son Carter A. May. He is survived by: the mother of his children Paula Ayers; his mother Eliza Greene (NJ); his daughter Tanya; his son-in-law Buddy Reed of Powder Springs, GA; his siblings, Jerome May Bryan Shepard (MD), Ronnie Shepard, Tommy Lee Johnson (NJ), Antoinette May and Debra Deas (Ala); and his grandchildren, Matthew Reed, Tyana Reed and Lorenn Reed. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
