With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Russell of Burdett, New York, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Russell and Bertha Russell; his brother Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Ann Russell. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Josh Russell (Taylor) of Ashville, NC, Erica Russell of New York, Morgan Mendelsohn (Steve) of Lake Placid, NY and Brittany Predmore (Justin Bennett) of Spencer, NY; his brother Gary; his sister-in-law Karen Russell of Mecklenburg, NY; his grandchildren, Dylan, Kaden, Bentley, Kylie, Ellie, Julian, Jackson and Brianna; and his pet Hennessy. He is also survived by his granddaughter and best friend; 3 nephews, a niece.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mecklenburg Volunteer Fire Company or the Mecklenburg United Methodist Church.
