We bid farewell to Christopher Zafonte of Burdett, New York, born in Oceanside, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 25, 2024 at the age of 51. Christopher touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Zafonte and Helen Zafonte; his siblings, Mumford and Anthony Zafonte; and his stepdaughter Harmonei Tuttle.
He is survived by: his daughter Stella Zafonte of Burdett, NY; his siblings, Cathy Thompson of Blairsville, GA, Tina Zafonte of West Babylon, NY, Theresa Snow (Jeremiah) of Alpine, NY, Mary Aleshevich (Randy) of Towson, MD, Kenneth Burgess (Diane) of Babylon, NY, David Zafonte (Linda) of St. Johns, FL, James Zafonte of Montour Falls, NY and Vincent Zafonte of Islip Terrace, NY; his stepdaughter Haleigh Porter; and his friend Rachel Ziarno-Trojanowski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
