He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Wilson and Velma Wilson; his siblings, Elizabeth Stewart, Annie Jean Walker (Ezell), James Earnest Wilson (Rose), Eugene Wilson Jr. and Nathan Wilson; and his granddaughter Aleshea Brown.
He is survived by: his close friend Hadji Temple; his wife Florence Wilson; his children, LaTanya McCorkle (Gerald), Dr. Sharon Brown (Kevin), Angel Brown and Dion Wilson; his grandchildren, Tiffany Richardson of Syracuse, LaShawn Delaine (Allen) of Houston, Temiah Brown of Jonesboro and Zion Wilson; his great grandchildren, Alexis of Houston, Asia Delaine of Houston and Séyore Worthy of Jonesboro, Georgia.; and his sister Rose Bacon (Obie) of Hamstead. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
