He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eileen A. Siller; his children, Richard (Carol Ann) and Kathleen Blake (Bruce); his grandchildren, Courtney Eischeid (Benjamin), Colleen Sekera (Ray), Sarah Genovese (Robert), Kevin and Cassie Siller; and his great grandchildren, Ray Thomas Sekera and Natalie Ann Sekera.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. (911 Englewood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Trinity Lutheran Church (1570 Niagara Fls Blvd, Tonawanda, NY 14150).
