He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sharon Wajda; his children, Melissa Wajda-Ardanuy (Christopher) and Stefan M. Wajda; his brothers, Richard (late Christine) and Bruce Wajda; and his grandchildren, Sydney, Tristan Ardanuy, Madeline and Mason Wajda. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
