It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel S. Young (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Samuel L. Sayles. He is survived by: his mother Beverly J. Young; his aunts, Janet Jalal and Elaine Philip; his siblings, Donald Young, Marla Blount and Camille Boyd; his niece Cara-Lynn Blount; and his great-nieces, Christina Joy Blount and Unity.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church (179 E Ferry St, Buffalo, NY 14208). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
