He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Mia Larin Christie; his parents, Daniel Thomas and Clara Thomas; and his brothers, Daniel Thomas (Millie) and Charles Thomas (late Jean).
He is survived by: his wife Rita Thomas; his children, Richard A. Thomas, Jr. (Katherine O'Donnell) and Rebecca A. Christie (Jon); his grandchildren, Jillian M. Vilardo (Alexander) and Spencer W. Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Alesandra and Serafina Vilardo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
