He was predeceased by: his mother Arabella Decker (late Edward). He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Wozniak); his children, Jennifer Lipka and David Lipka (Jamie Benol); his aunt Phyllis Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Wozniak (Pat McClellan), Mary Lou Braun and Diane DiPalma (Ralph). He is also survived by 5 cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Through his teaching, research and writing he made a significant contribution to the field of education.
