It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M. Hoadley (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard M. Hoadley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert (Grace), Roger (Honnorine) and William Hoadley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Hoadley; his children, Susan Hoadley (Mark Giblin), Sherrie Sheppard (Ted), Dalene Dory (Art) and Richard Hoadley (Barbara); his grandchildren, Patrick (Crystal), Samantha, Christina, Kevin, Alesha and Kaitlin; and his siblings, Glenn (Janet) and Lee (Cathie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. (911 Englewood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to Roswell Park Cancer Alliance.
