Polly Dixon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Polly Dixon of Buffalo, New York, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Polly Dixon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parent Vassie Elvira Givens Lee; her brother J. C. Lee; her granddaughter Shandra Neshay Dixon; and her grandson-in-law Tommy Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Stan Dixon (Kimberly), Kathy Dixon (Kat) of South Carthage and Cindy Holland (Eddie); and her grandchildren, Tiffany Montgomery (Chris), Tecia Roberts of South Carthage, Kyle Dixon of Knoxville, Kandra Preston and Brittany Kennedy (David). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kempville Old Time Methodist Church (196 Kempville Hwy, Carthage, TN 37030). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens.
