He was predeceased by: his spouse Mariannina LaFornara; and his parents, Giuseppe LaFornara and Lucia LaFornara. He is survived by: his children, Joe LaFornara (Nicola Adimey) and Paoline Palm (Jack); his grandchildren, Brianna and Nathan; and his siblings, Francesca Puglisi (Tony) and Joseph LaFornara (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
