He is survived by: his wife Elinor Michelson Shaevel; his children, Andrew Shaevel (Amy Marks) and Karen Levin (Robert); his grandchildren, Lewis Shaevel, Benjamin Gumer and Amanda Levin; and also William "Bill" Shaevel (Lois).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Beth Zion (805 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14209).
