It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary A. Shimskey (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Shimskey; her parents, John Lukaszek and Julia Lukaszek; and her siblings, Stell Lukaszek, John Lukaszek and Genevieve Lucenti (late Sam).
She is survived by: her siblings, Irene LaCross (late John) and Edward Lukaszek (late Barbara). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
