He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie McNerney; his parents, John and Ruth; and his siblings, Paul and Karen.
He is survived by: his children, Colleen Ando (Fred Jr.), Mark McNerney (Jaime), Marlene McNerney (Paul) and Maureen McNerney (Dorian); his grandchildren, Paulie, Brianna, Freddie, Mark III, Dominic, Colin, Brendon, Gina, Quinn and Charlotte; and his siblings, Joan and John.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (861-929 Fr. Baker Blvd, Lackawanna, NY 14218).
