She was predeceased by: her husband Paul O'Brien; and her sisters, Ann McMahon (Thomas) and Patricia Canty (John). She is survived by: her children, Sheila Fleming (William), Paul O'Brien and Sean O'Brien (Julie); her grandchildren, Rev. Seán Paul Fleming, Sean Thomas O'Brien (Ashley) and Kara O'Brien; and her great grandchildren, Shea and Maeve O'Brien. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to St. Joseph Cathedral.
