She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas G. Illig; her son Trent M. Illig; her parents, Stanley Albert and Lottie Julia Kieta (Kroll); and her siblings, Marlene Schmitt (Kieta) and Paul Kieta.

She is survived by: her children, Troy T. Illig (John D. McKenzie) and Traci L. Illig (James T. Frazier); her grandsons, Patrick T. Frazier and Brennan T. Frazier; and her sister Janice Lochner (Kieta).
