He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Lawrence Porter and Martha Ridley Wiggins; and his siblings, Margaret Benjamin and Louis Wiggins, Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Rozetta Wiggins; his child Robinique Johnson-Menifee (Omar Menifee); his grandchildren, Imara and Nia Menifee; his siblings, James Wiggins (Elaine), Martha Gene Wiggins, Theresa Rutherford, Regina Wiggins and H. Jeanette Kelly; and his brother-in-law Royelle Rutherford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Light Assembly (358 Reiman St, Cheektowaga, NY 14212).
