We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2024, at the age of 95, Lena Smith of Buffalo, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lena Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Smith; her son John J. Smith, Jr. (Nancy); and her parents, Antonio Valenti and Carmella Valenti. She is survived by: her children, Margaret A. Long (Michael), Linda J. Ruffino (Peter) and Timothy G. Smith (Bonny); her grandchildren, John (Sara), Peter, Sarah (Leo), Michael, Jody, Bradley and Timothy; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Zane, Jack, Cecilia, Evelyn, Trey and Tessa. She is also survived by brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) (885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret's Church (1395 Hertel Ave, Buffalo, NY 14216).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Hospice of Buffalo.
