He is survived by: his close friend Lisa Johnson; his children, John (Genesis), Blaise and Brett Matte (Robin); his grandchildren, Rosalie, Athena, Cordelia and Felicity; and his siblings, Susan Matte, Barbara Tremblay, Judy Szabo (Joe), Anna Weber (Nicholas) and Michael Matte (Cheryl). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
