As JoAnn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved JoAnn. Though JoAnn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cleary and Marion Cleary; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Nightengale, Thomas Nightengale (Patricia) and Paul Nightengale.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Nightengale; her sister Carol Praetzel (Gary); and her siblings-in-law, Marty Nightengale and Janet Prucnal (David). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in JoAnn's name to the Activities Department at Mercy Skilled Nursing Facility at OLV, 55 Melroy Ave., Lackawanna, NY 14218 Building B.
