He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy VanRemmen (Nassoiy); his daughter Jeanne Schaller (Russ); and his siblings, Paul, Joan Stutz Pawlak, Thomas (late Carol) and Catherine VanRemmen.

He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth, Timothy (Mary), Joseph (Catherine) and Julie VanRemmen; and his siblings, June Stebbins (late Donald) and Bernard (Shirley). He is also survived by 6 grand children and 11 great grand children.
