Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Florence Hojnacki of Buffalo, New York, who passed away at the age of 99, on January 19, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony Hojnacki (Tony); her parents, Michael Derenda and Lottie Derenda (Szymanski); and her siblings, Sophie Rusek (Frank), Irene Bielat (Leon), Edward Derenda, Benedict Derenda (Frances), Joanna Strzalek (Alfred), Frances Urbanski (Al), Chester Derenda (Carol), Richard Derenda (Jane) and Henry Derenda (Audrey).
She is survived by: her children, Paul Hojnacki, Karen Schultz (Jim) and Marie Hojnacki (Garrett Sullivan) of State College, PA; and her grandchildren, Anna Hojnacki (Cory Bartos) of Portland, OR, Claire Hojnacki (Cris Champion) and Derek Schultz (Michelle Bouffard). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (4614 Main St, Snyder, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph University Parish (3269 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14214).
