As Edwin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edwin. Though Edwin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, James Martin, Timothy Martin, Monica Campana (Thomas), Katherine Zufall, Mary Beth Cavanaugh, Jennifer Scalisi (Christopher), Edwin Martin Jr. (Eileen) and Deanna Barker; his siblings, Dede Goodison and Marcia Wojtaszczyk; and his close friend Marlene Muscarella. He was also cherished by 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church (157 Cleveland Dr, Buffalo, NY 14215). An entombment will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (800 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14225).
