It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Slaughter (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Dorothy Louise find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Wilson and Jewell Morris; her husband Henry W. Slaughter; her children, Jewell and Henry; her sister Bettie Robinson; and her daughters, Regina Harris and Dr. Stephanie Slaughter. She was also cherished by her five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

Flowers gratefully declined, if desired, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
