He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kimberly Daniels; his daughter Sophie Topliffe; his parents, Daniel Topliffe Jr. and Susan Topliffe; his mother-in-law Jacquelyn Daniels; his siblings, Lauren Herberger (Brian), Christina Krajewski (Neal) and Joseph Topliffe; and his aunts and uncles, Debbie Grosskopf (late Richard), Denis Topliffe (Bonnie) and Mickey Topliffe (Jennifer). He was also cherished by loving cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. (911 Englewood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (1085 Englewood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223).
