She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sam Howze and Clara Cole Howze; her pets, Honey, Precious, Petey and Sweetie; her children, Rosemary Hicks (late Ronald Hicks), Deborah Ealy and Dwayne Ealy (Glenda); her grandchildren, Danielle Ealy, London James, Davita Respress, Andrea James, Iyanna James, Andre Owens III, Camille James, Cori James, Kiara James, Naveah Huntley and Henry Huntley; and her siblings, Clarice Williams, Betty Mays and Willie Mays.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Baptist Church (184 Goodell St, Buffalo, NY 14204). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
