She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Markwardt and Marie Markwardt. She is survived by: her children, Carole Linneborn, Thomas Helmicki, Jr. (Carolyn) and Sharon Bezak (Brian); her grandchildren, David (Tracey), Daniel (Kaitlin), Brittanie (Brenden), Thomas III and Evan; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Logan and Stella; and her brothers, Woodrow Markwardt (Sandra) and Richard Markwardt (Kathren). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) (885 Niagara Fls Blvd, Amherst, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great RC Church (885 Sweet Home Rd, Amherst, NY 14226).
