It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Maira of Buffalo, New York, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Anthony shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Anthony farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Gayle Hardwick Maira; his parents, Giuseppe Maira and Ines Puccinelli Maira; and his brothers, Salvatore Maira and Dino Maira.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Maira and Leslie Gaspard (Randy); his grandchildren, Josie and Jessie Gaspard; and his brother George Maira. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
