Mattis and Martha Mattis; his daughter Kristine Mattis (Carl); his siblings, Joseph Mattis (Patricia), Caroline Swanson and Lois Castaldi (Thomas); and his nieces and nephews, Susan Cannon (Steve), Mary Mattis, Christine Grindle (Paul), Sharon West (Braden), Robert Castaldi (Colleen), John Patrick Swanson (Molly), Michael Mattis (Andrea) and Andrew Castaldi.
