He was predeceased by: his daughter Gail; and his daughter-in-law Barbara Henry. He is survived by: his children, Robert (Roberta), Elizabeth Maitland (Craig), David (Lori) and Douglas Henry; his grandchildren, Stacy Fox (DJ) and Eric Maitland; his great grandchildren, MacKenzie and Brooklyn Fox; and his sister Phyllis Addison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
