Oakes (Brushton, New York), born in Moira, New York, who passed away on April 7, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Oakes and Dora Oakes (Mayville); his brother Lawrence Oakes; and his stepdaughters, Liz and Louise.
He is survived by: his siblings, Beatrice McQuinn of Utica, Lorraine Sendall of Palm Harbor, Leona Stout of North Bangor, Faye McCaffrey (Ray) of North Bangor, Lyle "Paul" Oakes (Laurie) of Moira, Wayne Oakes (Phyllis) of Brushton, Lynne Santor and Ron Oakes (Deb Haviland) of Millbrook; and also James Begor of Brushton. He is also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins.
