She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Villnave and Ione Villnave (Sherwin). She is survived by: her husband Roger F. Gareau; her daughter-in-law Patricia Gareau of Dunlap; her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law Dean Yando of Malone, NY.; her grandchildren, Brandi Clark (Jeff), Benjamin Gareau (Stephanie) and Kelsey Sepich (Allen); her great grandchildren, Evan, Reagan, Addison, Barrett and Nolan; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Bonville and Marilyn Tatro.

Donations can be made in her memory to the Moira Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department or the Brushton United Methodist Church.
