We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2024, at the age of 70, Joan M. Monroe of Brownville, New York, born in Watertown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James E. Monroe. She is survived by: her mother Beverly Ann Monroe (Alton); her sisters, Cathy Trembley (Mike) of Glen Park, NY and Cheri Connor (Tim) of Brownville, NY; her nieces and nephews, Carrie Weaver (Timothy) of Adams Center, NY, James Trembley of Glen Park, NY, Daniel Connor of Brownville, NY and Colleen Shear (Christopher) of Brownville, NY.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Cayla, Cady, Andie, Charlotte, Quinn, Aria, Callie and Connor; her close friend Tina Corey; and also, Carrie Lewandowski and Andy of Watertown, NY.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (237 William St, Dexter, NY 13634). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (119 W Main St, Brownville, NY 13615). A burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at the Brownville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or Hospice of Jefferson County.
