Slate of Brownville, New York, born in Carthage, New York, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clyde Becker Roseboom and Ariel Hawley Roseboom; her husband Paul Joseph Slate of Brownville; her children, Debra Merrick (Lynn) of Glen Park, Katheryn LaJuett (Dale) of LaFargeville, Stephen Slate (Cheryl) of Brownville and Daniel Slate (Suanne) of Evans Mills; her pet Sadie; and her brother John Roseboom of Texas. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
