It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Lee Hamilton (Brooktondale, New York), born in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on August 5, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Francis L.; his brother Charles Gary Hamilton; and his former wife Dawn Simmons Hamilton. He is survived by: his parent Laura L. Lyme Hamilton; his wife Cheryl VanPatten Hamilton; his children, Randi Brown (Jason), Charles Hamilton (Skid), Connie Brown, David Hamilton (Joanne), Walter Hamilton, Bryn VanPatten (Liz), Andrew VanPatten (Becky), Robert VanPatten (Danielle), Darrell VanPatten (Alisha) and Emily Bartschi; his siblings, Michael Hamilton and Bridget Hamilton; his friends, Raymond Simmons and Clifford Rich; and also Lifelong. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.
