It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward C. Monroe of Brooktondale, New York, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Monroe and Leah Emery Monroe; his sister Violet Shepardson; and also Marty. He is survived by: his wife Martha P. "Marty" Hewes; his children, Charles A. Monroe (Elisa) of Spencer, NY, Edward Monroe (Edwina), Donna Monroe Duffy, Kevin Monroe and Dickie Monroe (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Lily, Alicia, Georgia, Kevin Jr., Tiffany, Dylan, Daniel and David. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
