He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Alfreds); his children, Donald "Donnie" Short (Allison), Jack Short (Valerie), Ronald "Ronnie" Short, Sarah June Davis (Christopher) and MaryBeth Short Crissman (Jim); his grandchildren, Corey, Samantha, Gabriel, Derek, Spencer, Kiersten, Leah, Kyra and James; his brothers, James and Paul (Debbie); and his niece Jennifer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
