He is survived by: his significant other Bonnie Gow; his children, Wayne (BJ) of Virginia Beach, VA., Alvah Jr. (Anne) of Troy, PA., Brian (Jennifer) and Lori Yarbrough (Jim); his grandchildren, Wayne, Amanda, Logan, Shelby, Drusilla, Brian, Alisa and Cullen of Alvah, III.; his great grandchildren, Miller, Nolan, Landon, Killian, Tanner, Amelia, Abigail, Lillian, Eliza, Declan, Andrew, Kylee, Karsyn, Elyse and Jeffrey; his siblings, Roscoe and Lois Ann; and his friends, Rebecca Darling and Curly.
