He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francesco Nicastro and Sebastiana Nicastro; his daughter Linda (Stephen); his wife Maria Leonardi; his son Frank Nicastro (Christine); his granddaughters, Rosemarie Garcia (Isaiah) and Paula Springer (Tim); his daughter Bessie Nicastro; and his grandchildren, Carmela LaMarsh (Jared), Marie Gatto (Michael), Jennifer Guerci (Peter), Ashley Finkelstein, Cory Finkelstein, Ann Weiss (Thomas) and Maximus. He was also cherished by great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Scarpaci Funeral Home (1401 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11228). Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Ephrem's Church (929 Bay Ridge Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11228). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Woodbridge Memorial Gardens (US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge, NJ 08830).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Dementia Foundation in Paul's name.
