“I first met Normie nearly 50 years ago, when I was about 8. Honest, direct, and to the point, he always told it like it is. We could all learn from Normie. Normie was one of those rare men who became everyone in the neighborhood’s “dad”. A rabid sports lover, you’d never or hear of him turning down the opportunity to play catch or umpire a game - even if his own kids weren’t involved. The type of person that you could call on and he’d be there. That’s who he was. May he rest in peace.”
