Though Nilda Gomez may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Gomez and Josefa Vargas Gomez; and her husband Aurelio Acevedo. She is survived by: her sons, Hector Acevedo (Diane) of Schenectady, NY and Robert Acevedo (Erin) of Ipswich, MA; and her grandchildren, Maggie DiBlasio (John) of Moore, SC and Mini Hoffman (Chris) of Duncan, SC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
A committal service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
